B The purpose and goal of the bachelor thesis was to design and implement an automatic bidding system for (the auction portal) e-bay.com. The program will watch a given auction and make a bid in last 5 seconds to win the auction. It has also to be able watch more auctions simultaneously. The program must be compatible with Linux operating system. GUI is not required as the program can be controlled via command line.

The desktop application is developed in the Java SE with GUI implemented in Swing and communicates to eBay REST API via HTTP protocol. Text as well as presentation was created in the LaTEX, the bibliography in the BibTEX.
